A current large project envisions the creation of a Cluster Business Service organization which covers Finance, HR, General Secretary, and IS/IT. The HR CBS Benelux will provide business support to all Category Business Units in the Benelux. These activities include Talent Acquisition & Development, Learning, Compensation & Benefits, International Mobility Management and People Administration & Payroll. Your mission
The Cluster Business Service organization will be in a start-up phase and therefore dynamic and full of developments. As the Head of Administration & Payroll, you will have an important role in contributing to the success and growth of the organization by providing expert advice on Administration & Payroll topics and the implementation. Your department is in charge of all administrative activities covered by the HR function, which includes payroll administration, employee data management, contract management and leave and absence monitoring. As the Head of Payroll & Administration you work cross-WBU and therefore ensure consistency and compliance of contracting and payroll activities across businesses. You also ensure that immigration, social and tax services are compliant to both home and host regulations and Group policy. Monitoring the contracts of local payroll systems and the implementation of required changes in information systems is part of your responsibility. On top of all of that, you are responsible for the supervision, coaching and developing of two local Administration & Payroll teams and the HR Analytics Manager. You report directly to the HR Cluster Business Services Director.

Your key responsibilities

  • You lead your Administration & Payroll team to deliver best in class HR Services;
  • You understand Business Unit needs and key stakes and support the Business to set up innovative and more efficient processes and tools;
  • Advancing quality through focus on a significant level of anticipated system integrations and harmonization across the Netherlands and Belgium.

 

Your profile

  • Relevant Bachelor's or Master's degree;
  • You have at least 8-10 years relevant HR working experience, a period in which you gained profound experience with all Administration & Payroll topics;
  • Experience with system harmonization and implementation is part of your track record;
  • Willing to travel and work within Benelux to ensure proximity to the business (+/-30% spend in Brussels and other Benelux locations on average);
  • Your proven solid people management skills will help you to relate and bring out the best in others. You are able to make the best use of talents, strengths, skills and efforts of your people and with this, optimize your team's effectiveness;
  • This position requires connecting, understanding and influencing different stakeholders;
  • You like staying abreast of the latest developments, best practices and trends in HR to bring leading edge expertise, and for example challenge HR organization with numbers, trends, big data and benchmarks;
  • Proficient in both written and spoken English and Dutch.
